Anyone ever tried Duolingo?

Seems an awfully easy way to learn a new language. Already learned 37 Spanish words in 2 days.

I took some courses from Rosetta Stone back in the day but never tried Duolingo

It gets progressively more difficult.
There are multiple units and ranks. You're possibly still in rookie. I'm finishing unit 8 rookie in Irish Gaelic today.
