@MethDozer okay fair but considering very few people live in Finland, all it takes is a few families to get into it together to skew the results. Plus I wonder if they do the same thing they do in Hungary, allowing college kids to choose Esperanto as their language to learn. Makes for a high percentage of Hungarian Esperanto speakers because they figure it will be a super easy language to learn and thus an easy A.

@Zeuro If you're looking for the popularity of something in different places. Only comparing percentages of the population gives you that information. Comparing the actual numbers of people would tell you nothing. There's no reason to think the map uses different sample sizes for each country and really it wouldn't matter if the sample sizes were proportionately adjusted.

@MethDozer i mean they very well could have used a larger sample size for bigger countries. But then again, could be like Hungary and that’s the reason
