What are 2 or more words you get confused?

I know the difference between a fridge and a freezer very well, but I always gotta stop and think before using the right word.

It is my first language, but I've picked up sayings from my mum. Open the light. Shut the light. It's literal translations. There's a few words I'll say in Greek Cypriot first too, just because I forget the English.
