When I first came to the uk few months ago
I wanted to master the British pronunciation of “water”
So one afternoon I spent idk how long watching videos and trying to mimic the pronunciation
shortly after, I went to a nearby restaurant and ordered takeaway
He asked me what I want for drink and
Not only was I not able to say water in British accent but I legit completely forgot the word “water “
I stood for idk how long trying to remember the word so I got embarrassed and said “ h2o “ 🤣

@Moon3624 lol. It happens. Sometimes I forget and just let loose with Icelandic to someone like my fiancée that doesn’t understand any of it. She says our language makes her hot, though. So the unintended consequences kinda rock. 😅

It’s the same with her
She used to speak to me in Spanish and I didn’t understand but it sounded hot
Sometimes she also asked me to speak in Arabic cuz it turned her on
Lol
