I am leaning french

Interesting stuff. Was watching cartoons in french.

Nounou means babysitter or nanny, but in Egyptian dialect, nounou is an informal way of saying baby... I thought it meant the same thing in French when I heard it.. I wonder how it changed into baby in Egyptian dialect because it isn't really an Arabic word, but interesting. lol

"Au pas" was used to encourage the baby to walk, same phrase is used in Egyptian dialect (only pronounced Au-ba, since p doesn't exist in Arabic) when dealing with babies; getting them up or getting them to walk .. aww very interesting ❤️🥔

@BittersweetPotato sounds like opa, in some countries in the balkans we could use it in that context but it's used in many other ways too
