I'm going to learn a second language.
I'll finish my book first, then I'll start learning Spanish. I downloaded Duolingo. Is this a good app, or do you recommend something else?

You can teach yourself with anything if you practice, even buy a college standard book for beginners. I'd suggest continuing your studies but also listen to Spanish language music, watch movies in Spanish with Spanish subtitles, join a language exchange website, and use Spanish in real life every chance you can. @lovelywarpedlemon Those are great ideas! I would enjoy talking to you further. I learned very little Spanish years ago, as I traveled to Honduras to film a documentary. It's a challenging thing to learn a second language, but it's rewarding. I'm ready to learn more.
