It was very real. Unfortunately you can't ask my wife's grandfather because he was murdered in Mauthausen. You can't ask my wife's great grandfather because he was gassed in Aushwich.
Her grandmother who died ten years gave her two daughters to families to adopt them during the war years whilst she escaped the Nazis and saved herself from being deported.

No. The [b] Holocaust [/b] was very real and well documented. Some of the children from that era are alive today.
