What should I say about myself? I am 52 years old, married and mother to one beautiful boy who is autistic. With years of therapy and training, my son has come a really far way. He exceeds our expectations regularly with his humor, knowledge and capabilities.
I love to cook, take pictures and wrote short stories. I am also Mommy to one dog named Brooke, who has to constantly be by my side, two cats named Pepper and Malcolm who play/fight constantly and a bunch of fish. I live in South Western Pennsylvania, an area with winding rivers, rolling hills and beautiful wildlife.
My favorite thing to do for fun is cruising. I have been on several cruises and the last three were with my husband and son in tow. Cozumel Mexico is my favorite spot on this planet.
I love jewelry and anything that sparkles. I also love watching birds. I could do that all day. I recently started painting and have found that I'm not too bad at it, but I am still learning. Thank goodness for old Bob Ross videos on YouTube!
I suffer with chronic pain because of Trigeminal Neuralgia. It's no picnic, trust me on that. Some days are unbearable for me and I would love nothing more than just lay down and close out the world, but that is impossible with a child with special needs so I just push myself as much as I can to take care of him and my responsibilities of being a wife and mother.
