I Celebrate Ramadan

Tomorrow Ramadan starts so I will begin fasting. I'm pretty excited as see it as an opportunity for detox . I'm hoping to stop smoking but will be tough as been smoking way 2 many years. However will be good personal challenge for me.

Thanks guys, Im Malia -its basically no food or drink during daylight hours or smoking or sex. Nightime all good (except smoking as bad 4 lol). But im gonna try stop completely this year. Aslo this time a good time 2 give to charity. Many people take food 2 homeless in this time an share with them. It's so you get a small taste of what is some peoples' daily reality. At end of ramadan a big feast where u exchage gifts an people also give 2 various charities. I find it helps me focus. Also when its time to eat (long days in UK this year!) the water you just had or food you have eaten truly tastes amazing. You can really appreciate it helping you reflect on those wh sadly don't have that. If you are ill, elderly, too young, pregnant or breast feeding or menstrating you dont fast.

Best of luck, I admire those who undertake such an uneasy fasting particularly in summer.

Ramadan is where you fast all day and only eat at night? im sure there is more to it. I'm just curious as to what it all entails
