I Have Legitimate Concerns About Islam And That's Not Bigotry

Why do Muslims feel triggered by a road sign if neither Islam or Mohammad are mentioned?

So, what you're saying, is that this sign is about some random, mythical person, and not about Mohamad?

So, Muslims are collectively triggered by this road sign? I've spoken with at least a dozen Muslims over the past week, and this includes the TSA agents who processed me at the MSP airport yesterday. None mentioned it.

@Northwest: Apparently there has been much fuss in the Muslim communities in the area.

So they acknowledge that the person described there is Mohammad.

@Cierzo: Actually, the bulk of responses is from haters of Islam, happy to see the billboard up and laughing about it. The Islamic organization's response is that they plan to raise money, to put up their own billboard with a message of peace. Did you even watch this video, or did you simply read the commentary from whatever hate site you copied this from?

@Northwest: If they plan to put up a response billboard means they got triggered

@Cierzo: yes, a message of peace is definitely a trigger, but all the hate speech/tweets is calmness and serenity? This bit of reporting has backfired, and no amount of pivoting is going to change that.
