How is this fair.

And the Jews will never be pleased with you nor the Christians unless you follow their faith. Say, `Allâh's guidance is the only perfect and true guidance.' If you were to follow their low desires after there has come to you this perfect knowledge, you shall have from Allâh neither a protecting friend, nor any helper.
120- Albaqara.

This verse honestly is hilarious to me after hearing it for years and years. I'm always like wait so you are saying that they're never going to be satisfied with you and they are so bad but what about you Muslim person, you're never going to be satisfied with them either so you're basically saying you're like them 🤔 you just exposed yourself without exposing yourself you know what I mean?

It just doesn't make sense that me a simple human being is more open minded than a god who created the entire universe a god who created thos Jews and Christians he says are wrong 🤔

Well anyway things like that is what made me question this whole religion. This is written by a sick person and not a god. And it's not even sunna it's in the quraan and it's very straight forward and doesn't need any explanation or paraphrase by anyone so a person can understand it. How can we all live peacefully if we took a verse like that and lived by it's standards what kind of world would that be.

Even when I used to be a Muslim this bothered me and I would just pretend it's not there.

The way most Muslims use it, yes. The aim is to divide and think they are better than everyone which is generally what is going on when they say these words.

They forget that their god was talking to Mohamed not to Muslims. He was using a singular you. So the fact that scholars turned it into plural in their interpretation is blasmphy but they all did it, wicked fkers did not spare a chance to turn muslims against everyone else to easily control them. And they succeeded.

It pays to emphasize that it is common saying followed by some sort of bigotry. This is not some verse that is written on quran without implications.

@jshm2 Resolving to insults is a classic Muslim move. It means I hit you in a sensitive spot. Congratulations. Did you forget that insulting is sinful? Can you even practice your own belief system right?

I'm not coming down to your level and insult you. You already proved my point. Why does it hurt your pride so bad when someone says what they are thinking about.
