I Am Enjoying Being A Muslim

[big][Quran 15:24]
"And We have already known the preceding generations among you, and We already know the later ones that are yet to come."
[/big]
[Quran 2:216]
"But it may be that you dislike something while it is good for you, and it may be that you like something while it is bad for you. Allah knows, and you do not know."
[Quran 67:13]
"Whether you keep your words secret, or declare them—He is Aware of the inner thoughts."
Allah knows what's best for me, so why should I complain. I always want the sunshine, but He knows there must be rain. Whatever befalls us in life could not have been avoided, and whatever does not befall us could not have been made to happen, as Allah knows best.

Allah knows what is best for me, and when it's best for me to have it.

So by that argument whatever happens to you will happen whether you work hard or do nothing.

@GeniUs: We work hard and do our best, and trust God that He will give us the result that is for our own good. Sometimes we work hard to achieve something, but eventually we fail, we might think that this is bad and start to complain and feel sad about it, but later in life, when we look back, we discover that it was for our own good we didn't get that something.

True, I was in Bharain briefly and saw the queues of women with children in a hotel whilst their husbands were up stairs picking out which dancing girl they were going to have (all in the name of Allah of course).
I went upstairs to have a look at what was going on but we had to watch the girls from a doorway!

@NearMiss: Domestic violence is forbidden in Islam.

[Quran 4:19]
"And live with them in kindness."
@GeniUs: Obviously, you have been in a hotel where drinking and prostitution are practiced, which both are forbidden in Islam and considered to be major sins.

@NearMiss: The same way we explain the high rates of domestic violence committed by men from all kinds of backgrounds. Men who use violence against their women are themselves abusive. They don't do it because they follow certain religion or guideline. Not all Muslim men are abusive and not all men from other backgrounds are kind to their women.

@NearMiss: Yes, I went to college and I hold a bachelor degree in Information Technology. I'm a student of Islam as well. The more I study it, the more I am convinced it's the truth.

@NearMiss: I understand that you hate Islam for some reason. I'm not here to change your mind. Islam is beautiful, but only people with sincere heart would enjoy its beauty. I've been accused here by being an evil, just because I believe in the One God and I live by the principle of purifying our hearts, and try to improve our character for the benefit of ourselves and the world around us.

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said:
"The Muslim is the one from whose tongue and hand the people are safe, and the believer is the one from whom the people's lives and wealth are safe."
