I Am Enjoying Being A Muslim

No sin remains minor with persistence, and no sin remains major after repentance.

[Quran 3:135-136]
"And those who, when they commit an immorality or wrong themselves [by transgression], remember God and seek forgiveness for their sins - and who can forgive sins except God? - and [who] do not persist in what they have done while they know. Those—their reward is forgiveness from their Lord, and gardens beneath which rivers flow, abiding therein forever. How excellent is the reward of the workers."
[Quran 11:117]
"For, never would your Lord destroy a community for one single wrong [deed or belief] so long as its people behave righteously."
When it comes to doing good, sometimes I hesitant. ‘I am such a sinner!’ I'm thinking, ‘Will God really appreciate the pathetic deeds that I do when I commit such horribly bad deeds?’
[Quran 35:34]
“Surely our Lord is indeed Ever-Forgiving, Appreciative.”
[Quran 35:30]
“He is most forgiving, most appreciative.”
This gives me the reassurance that even if I commit sinful deeds, I can return to God and He will, insha’Allah (God willing) forgive me, while rewarding me for the good.

If we refuse to leave something wrong for the fear of ‘losing out’ on our happiness, we have doubted in God's Power to replace it with something that is much better and comforting for us in this world and the next.

My Lord, if my sins are great in amount, then I have always known that Your forgiveness is greater. Amen!
