27.82 Kathir - Ibn Al Kathir -(A beast will emerge from the earth, and with it will be the staff of Musa and the ring of Sulayman, peace be upon them both. It will strike the nose of the disbelievers with the staff, and it will make the face of the believer bright with the ring, until when people gather to eat, they will be able to recognize the believers from the disbelievers.) It also was recorded by Imam Ahmad, with the wording:...
(It will strike the nose of the disbelievers with the ring, and will make the face of the believer bright with the staff, until when people gather for a meal, they will say to one another, O believer, or O disbeliever.)
VERY IMPORTANT : "There will be no believer left without it making a white spot on his face, which will spread until all his face is shining white as a result; and there will be no disbeliever left without it making a black spot on his face, which will spread until all his face is black as a result, then when the people trade with one another in the marketplace, they will say, `How much is this, O believer' `How much is this, O disbeliever' "

QURAN 3/106 On the Day (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) when some faces will become white and some faces will become black; as for those whose faces will become black (to them will be said): "Did you reject Faith after accepting it? Then taste the torment (in Hell) for rejecting Faith."

3.106 Abbas - Tanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn ‘Abbâs
(On the day (some) faces will be whitened and (some) faces will be blackened; and as for those whose faces have been blackened it will be said unto them) the angels in-charge of hell will say to them: (Disbelieved ye) in Allah (after your (profession of) belief?) in Allah. (Then taste the punishment for that ye disbelieved) in Allah.

WHY WILL THOSE WITH BLACK BE THROWN IN HELL?

Ibn Musa al-Yahsubi, Qadi ‘Iyad, p.375 :- “Ahmad ibn Abi Sulayman, Sahnun’s companion, said that whoever says that the Prophet was black is killed. The Prophet was not black”

https://sunnah.com/mishkat:119 Abud Darda' reported God’s messenger as saying, “God created Adam when He created him and struck his right shoulder and brought forth his offspring white like small ants. And he struck his left shoulder and brought forth his offspring black as though they were charcoal. Then He said to the party on his right side, ‘To paradise, and I do not care’ and He said to the party in his left shoulder, ‘To hell, and I do not care’.”

It's important to address misunderstandings about Islam. These verses and interpretations may seem confusing or troubling out of context. However, it's crucial to understand that the Quran should be interpreted holistically and in conjunction with the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).

Regarding the verses mentioned, it's essential to understand that they are metaphorical and not meant to be taken literally. In Islamic theology, the Day of Judgment is depicted as a day of reckoning when people's deeds will be weighed, and they will be judged accordingly.

The verses about faces turning white or black symbolize the spiritual state of individuals on the Day of Judgment, not their physical appearance. Those whose faces become white are those who lived righteous lives and maintained faith, while those whose faces become black are those who lived in disbelief and disobedience.

The Hadith mentioned about Adam's creation should also be understood in its historical and cultural context. It's not meant to convey any racial superiority or inferiority. Instead, it highlights the diversity of human creation and the impartiality of God's judgment.

Islam teaches that all humans are equal in the sight of God, regardless of race or ethnicity. Racism is condemned in Islam, and Muslims are instructed to treat all people with dignity and respect. It's essential to approach these verses and Hadith with knowledge, understanding, and sensitivity to avoid misinterpretation and promote harmony among people of different backgrounds.
