@kodiac But honey you have to remember. It wasn't God who did that to you... it was that awful, sick man. That man made that choice, never God. And God just doesn't interfere with free will on this earth. Think how many times he would be reaching down preventing crime and saving everyone. He came to save our souls, so we wouldn't go to hell. That was his mission. But make no mistake. That man that did this to you, shall pay dearly for it. He's not getting by with it. He may think he did but there's no such thing. He will pay dearly. @LadyGrace It needed to stop but it went on for years.No matter how much i prayed it didn't stop. I was an alter boy my whole life revolved around god i lived in the church .

@kodiac The very best thing you could do, is take back your power and no longer allow him to victimize you by making you miserable for the rest of your life. You must go on with your life and show him he can't hurt you anymore. It was not your fault, so take back your power over him. Show him that he can't control or hurt you anymore! He may have done this horrible thing, but he can't have your power! Not unless you give it to him.

@kodiac That doesn't make you dirty, it makes THAT PRIEST dirty, and a coward. Did you try to tell your mom or anyone? But you were so young, you didn't know what to do.

@LadyGrace Father martin was my guardian. My parents died and i was being abused by my foster dad i told father martin and he got custody he was the onle person i trusted he and others in the church molested me for 3 years from age 9 to 12.How could anyone not lose faith let alone a child with no family.

@kodiac I'm not smart enough to tell you why things happen like this or why nothing was done. All as I know is that God does love you even though it may not feel like it. He just doesn't interfere with people's decisions. But will know all the answers when we get to heaven and if anyone deserves to go to heaven you do! And I'm sure you will. Just please don't be angry with God. He is love personified and he would never do anything to hurt anyone. I wish I could tell you why it all happened and why nothing was done. But I'm just not that smart. But I do know that if you let Jesus love you and don't run away from him, you will be rewarded beyond your wildest imagination and you'll come out the winner, because you'll get to live in heaven for eternity. Maybe you can help someone else some day that has, or is going through the same thing. Perhaps you can give them hope. Why this man was never punished, by society, I will never know. How in the world did he get by with it? He needs to be brought to Justice. Please tell me he's not still in that church and preaching. My heart just aches for you.

@LadyGrace He is they just moved him to another country as far as i know .He got off because of the power the catholic churh has if you google the catholic church and the pennsylvaina grand jury it's all there Over 100 victims named 300 priests a total of 2 yes 2 went to jail all the others are still out there grooming and molesting more and more kids.

@kodiac I agree. That had to be the most horrible nightmare ever. One time when I was abused for 34 years, I asked the Lord, "WHY, did you wait so long and let him get by with this all these years? And the Lord answered me and said, "Because I am not willing that [u]any[/u] parish. I was giving him time to repent."
You see, God doesn't look at sin the way we do, and His thoughts are not our thoughts. But the Bible says He is just, and you can rest assured that this man, this MONSTER, that did this to you, shall be brought to Justice and given what he deserves. I DID NOT MEAN TO CAPITALIZE THIS NEXT PART, I'M SORRY BUT I'M NOT GOING TO ERASE IT AND START AGAIN.

IN GOD'S EYES, [i]ALL[/i] SIN IS THE SAME, BECAUSE ALL SIN SEPARATES US FROM GOD. GOD WILL TAKE CARE OF THIS MONSTER. He never breaks a promise. I know this is just the worst for you my friend, and my heart really bleeds for you, but also keep in mind that God did not come to take away all our problems and sorrows. But he did say he will help us through them if we'll let him. And he also said that his mission was not to bail us out of all our problems and sorrows, because we would never learn and grow in life, if He did. But that the most important mission of all, was to make sure to give us a way out of our sinful condition, so that none would have to miss heaven. I do know that God hurts when we hurt. He cried at the tomb of Lazarus. He feels all your suffering and pain, and it really hurts Him, too. He really wants to love and comfort you. This was certainly not His will. But since he gave us free will, he just does not interfere or respond like we think might. Our minds are just too finite to figure God out. If we try to, it just doesn't work. I dearly wish I had more answers for you.

@kodiac Couldn't we report him to the Vatican or something? There are also free attorneys.

@LadyGrace The vatican knows. the church has too much power tbh I'm afraid if i go further I'll be silenced i think people believe oh well it's a priest how bad could it be probably just some touching ,there are kids that just disappear these people will stop at nothing to protect the church. Only god can stop them and obviously that's not happening.

@kodiac No one can take God from you. He took innocence away from you and at that age, you couldn't know how to process that, so you reasoned it out the only way your young mind could, at the age and time. Nothing goes unnoticed by God. Like I said... he'll pay for eternity.
