The real inhabitants of Hell are those who reject God [I Am Enjoying Being A Muslim]

... they will remain in it forever, and shall never live in it or die.

However, there shall be another group of people who believed in God, the fire of Hell will touch them because of their sins, and they shall die a type of death until they become burnt up, then they will be interceded for, so they will come in groups and they will be thrown into The River Of Life, they will be refreshed, then it will be said, 'O people of Paradise, go ahead and enter it', so they will enter it.

Hell will never touch those who repent from their sins.

Oh wow. I can't even believe you. Yep. That's really a way to tell people about Jesus. Tell them they're condemned. I've got news for you. Jesus never came to condemn, NOR does GOD condemn them. Our SINS condemn us - not GOD. Know your bible. It says that Jesus came not into the world to condemn the world, but to save it! There's not one person on this Earth that has to go to hell, if they will realize that because we were born with sin in us, that keeps us separated from God and the way God the Father remedied that, was to send Jesus to tell people how to be saved and that through his forgiveness, anyone in this world can be saved and have eternal life in heaven. What you're doing is turning everyone away from Christ, instead of drawing them to Him. These type posts make me sick to my stomach. Even when Jesus confronted the lady in adultery, he never yelled at her and he never condemned her. He told her to simply don't commit adultery again. Go and sin no more, he said. And Jesus commanded us to teach in LOVE. When Jesus preached on the hillside to thousands, he spoke with all the love in his heart. he didn't say "You all are going to hell, if you do this or that!" Get a grip. Oh. I just now see you deleted all the bad stuff in your post.

@LadyGrace Hell will never touch those who repent from their sins.
@Madeleine That's exactly right, but that's not the issue here.
Madeleine · 41-45, F
@LadyGrace What is the issue?
@Madeleine Exactly as I wrote.

@LadyGrace I'm Muslim. I believe that Jesus was the Messiah and a prophet who was sent by God to teach people monotheism.
@Madeleine Yes. I know you are Muslim. What made you realize that Jesus is the Savior of the world? Most Muslims, though they say differently, from what I've studied and the conversations I've had with them, believe Jesus was only a good man and prophet, not the Savior of the world. Do you believe Jesus came as Savior of the world and died on the cross, resurrected, and through His forgiveness, we can have eternal life? I'm not asking you about him being the Messiah. That means different things to different people. I'm asking you about Jesus, as our Redeemer and Savior of this world. The reason I ask that, is because your Quran teaches just the opposite. I have read it. It teaches that whoever does not go along with your beliefs, can face death. And again...I have issue with your deliverance of the gospel, to people. It is not acceptable nor accurate.

@LadyGrace I do not believe that Jesus died for our sins. Each person is responsible for their deeds. The only way to salvation is sincere repentance. We were put on their earth to be tested and purified. This is what Jesus preached as well.
@Madeleine Madeleine, John 3:16 tells us Jesus did die for our sins. That's in God's own Word. God is perfect. Incapable of lying.

You said:
The only way to salvation is sincere repentance.
Next you said we're responsible for our own sins and believe we can save ourselves by doing good works. So if that's the case, and you can earn your salvation yourself, then whom would we repent to? Surely not GOD, since you believe you can save yourself. You're statements are contradictory. Please explain. God's Word says one can never earn their salvation. You never have to earn the free gift of salvation. It's exactly that...FREE.
Madeleine · 41-45, F
@LadyGrace When did I say one can save themselves? I said we are responsible for our own deeds, which means when we commit sins, we should turn to God for repentance, and God by His love and mercy shall forgive and wipe our sins. We do not "earn" salvation, but we strive for God's mercy by repenting to Him.

The Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, said:
"Observe moderation (in doing deeds), and if you fail to observe it perfectly, try to do as much as you can do (to live up to this ideal of moderation) and be happy for none would be able to get into Paradise because of his deeds alone."

They (the Companions of the Prophet) said: "God's Messenger, not even you?"

Thereupon he said: "Not even I, but that God wraps me in His Mercy, and bear this in mind that the deed loved most by God is one which is done constantly even though it is small."
@Madeleine Here's exactly when you said ...you don't believe Jesus died for ours sins and we can save ourselves.
I do not believe that Jesus died for our sins. Each person is responsible for their deeds. The only way to salvation is sincere repentance. We were put on their earth to be tested and purified. This is what Jesus preached as well.
[c=#BF0000]You really contradict yourself here. What can you do with John 3:16, then? I go by what Jesus said, not a mere man you call Mohammed. God's Word says no one is wiser than God. It is an insult to God, to suggest that. [/c]
Madeleine · 41-45, F
@LadyGrace Yes, the only way to salvation is sincere repentance to earn God's mercy. We were put on this earth to be purified.
16 Just then a man came up to Jesus and inquired, “Teacher, what good thing must I do to obtain eternal life?” 17 “Why do you ask Me about what is good?” Jesus replied. “There is only One who is good. If you want to enter life, keep the commandments. 18 “Which ones?” the man asked. Jesus answered, “ ‘Do not murder, do not commit adultery, do not steal, do not bear false witness
- [Matthew 19:16-18]
@Madeleine It's what you are NOT saying, that is important. You still never say Jesus is our Savior, and without Jesus, God the Father says none can be saved. How, then, do you explain this verse? Ignore it?

Madeleine · 41-45, F
@LadyGrace Why are you trying to force your belief on me? I'm Muslim, not Christian. I believe in the Quran, not the Bible.
@Madeleine I could say the same about your post. We are only discussing, remember? But you're not answering my questions. What I'm trying to figure out, is why you ignore Jesus as Savior, and WHY you believe as you do. So when I asked you about what will you do with that verse I just sent you, what do you say? You just can't ignore it. Do we go by what man says, or God? Which is right in your opinion, and why?? If or when you post something, you just can't write things and not give your reasons why, in the case of this subject.
Madeleine · 41-45, F
@LadyGrace Thank you for clarifying dear. I'm happy to respectfully discuss our faiths.

First of all, let's pay a little attention to what we agree on:
- We're both believers in God.
- We believe in the Hereafter.
- We know that this life is merely a test and the real life is in Paradise.
- We both love God and we want to meet Him.
- We both want and eagerly desire to please God.
- We both believe that God sent down revelations to guide us to the Truth.
- We both believe in prophets and messengers sent by God.
- We both love Jesus and we recognize him as the Messiah.
- We both believe that he was born miraculously, and his mother Mary was a virgin.
- We both believe in the existence of Angels.
- We both believe that a creature called Satan exists as well and he is our enemy, and his goal is to lead us to the path of hell.
- We both want to be saved.
.. the list doesn't stop here, it goes on and on.

Now to answer your questions:

Why you ignore Jesus as Savior, and WHY you believe as you do?
I don't believe that Jesus died for my sins because this is the teaching of the Quran.

What will you do with that verse I just sent you, what do you say? You just can't ignore it.
Even though I believe that the Bible contains within it revelations from God, I don't believe in verses that contradict the teachings of the Quran.

Do we go by what man says, or God? Which is right in your opinion, and why??
Of course we go with what God says, not man. That's why I'm Muslim, because the Quran is the direct word of God, and we have it in its original language. It never went through any changes throughout the centuries. On the other hand, the Bible was written by men, and it went through a lot of changes throughout the centuries. So can we distinguish between what was inspired by God and what was written by man? It's not even in it's original language and a lot of its scripts were lost.

May God guide us both to the Truth.
