I Am Enjoying Being A Muslim

[big]All people return to Allah after their death, but the happy person is the one who returns to Allah while still alive.[/big]

I learned that whoever constantly seeks forgiveness from Allah, Allah will appoint for them a way out of every distress and a relief from every anxiety, and will provide sustenance for them from sources they do not expect. Allah makes the impossible possible.

O Allah, fix my heart.

[Quran 3:101]
[quote]And whoever holds firmly to Allah has (indeed) been guided to a straight path[/quote]

[Quran 93:7-8]
[quote]And He found you lost and guided [you]. And He found you poor and made [you] self-sufficient[/quote]

As they say Muslims, Jews and Christians are all peoples of the book.

@Madeleine I always like the mystical parts of religion myself. Kabbalah, Sufi, Gnostic. I think they have wonderful wisdom.

@canusernamebemyusername Do you believe in your Creator?
@Madeleine I'm a pantheist at most so I equate the universe and creator as one and the same.
Madeleine · 41-45, F
@canusernamebemyusername So do you believe that the universe created itself?
@Madeleine I'm not sure. I can see it doing so. But I can also see an external something do it too.

@canusernamebemyusername So we agree. The "external something" I call Allah (God)
@Madeleine I'm okay with that. 🤗

@canusernamebemyusername It's great that we agree. Why do you think we were created?
@Madeleine I have heard people that have asked that in near death experiences. A lot of them say we are here to learn and love. Which is a good reason to exist.

@canusernamebemyusername This is true. Knowledge and love are part of our journey, but what is our end goal? Are our knowledge and accomplishments going to waste?
@Madeleine I always thought that they both exist for their own sake. Like I love knowledge just to have it. And I love love. For me it doesn't need an end goal. Cause love is perfect simply existing.

@canusernamebemyusername .. this sounds too romantic for me. It's hard to believe that our souls were created just to vanish at the end. It's like spending years and years building such a beautiful house, then you crash it down. Wouldn't feel that your effort was in vain?
@Madeleine I can understand that feeling. But I would also know that I should treasure it while I had it because I might not see it again. It would be that much more precious to me. Like flowers only blooming once and then disappearing. It's more beautiful due to its rarity.

@canusernamebemyusername What about treasuring every moment of your life here to build your permanent life?
@Madeleine That too I mean. Always try to treasure stuff no matter what life it is.

@canusernamebemyusername What if there's afterlife and you didn't prepare for it?
@Madeleine I belive I read in the Quran that every person will have to give an account of their life and why they believe or didn't. I liked that. It suggest you'll be given a fair hearing and be judged accordingly. And that your good must outweigh you bad.

@canusernamebemyusername True. This also means that this unjust life will be followed by the ultimate justice. And a perfect life actually exist.
