I Am Enjoying Being A Muslim

I will never get tired of asking Allah for what I want because Allah never gets tired of giving me what I want. And Allah loves those who ask.

There is nothing wrong in getting closer to Allah during trails. It is wrong to distance ourselves from Allah after He solves them for us. I learned to never underestimate the power of asking for forgiveness. It is a weapon that brings me back to Allah and draws me closer to Him. We must hold on to our prayers. Because If we lose that, we will lose everything else. I seek sweet happiness is in three things: performing prayer, remembering Allah, and reading the Quran. As long as I find delight in those three things, it is alright. But if I ever lost that feeling, it means that the door to Allah’s love and mercy is closed; and then I should start searching for the reason. [b]When everything seems to be against us, we must remember that Allah is with us.[/b]

@Madeleine the Point is Islam doesn't have a Monopoly on The Creator!! ; nor his Names. I respect all religious beliefs systems. And their faith. Islam is supposed to be a Religion of peace. A way of living a better life just as most other religions. Such as Christianity. Hinduism and Judaism. Along with Islam are the 4 main religious beliefs system. The problem is everyone believe that their religion is the only ture one!. If everyone is right and everyone is wrong.. It's pointless. Fighting and killing one another over a belief is insane. Everyone has gifts that the Creator has given them. Most neglect to- use them or are unaware of the Gifts are Gracious and Merciful Lord and Creator has bestowed upon us. I'm not one of them. @Abbenthewarwolf I think we have discussed this before. The different religious faith make exclusive truth claims. For examples Muslims believe that Jesus didn't die on the cross. That's a central tenant of the Christian faith. The conflicting truth claims can not all be true, unless you want to throw the law of non-contradiction out of the window.

@MrSimons Yes, that is correct. It's impossible that all religions are from God. It has to be one. For me, the only religion that is revealed by God is Islam, and I have reasons to have this belief. Otherwise, I wouldn't be Muslim.

However in Islam, we are required to respect other people's beliefs and the goal is not to have to agree with each other, but to build an understanding and try to live together in peace.

@Madeleine He (The Truth) made Himself known to me many times in simple acts of love such ad sendind stray and wild animals to visit me when I was lonely an leading on a walk where I just happen to find exactly what I needed laying on the ground or many orher things that the cynical and faithless attribute to coincedence. All love comes from the Father. There is no other truth than His love.
