I Am Enjoying Being A Muslim

People run towards the world they can never catch, and run away from death they can never escape.

Loss; is the returning of what never actually belonged to us in the first place.
As for this life, no matter how long it lasts, it will inevitably come to an end, and no matter how great its conveniences and luxuries, they are in fact insignificant.

We should not weep for the arriving soul—It isn’t dead. We should weep instead for the one whose body is alive, but whose soul is dead because of its alienation from that which gives it life: God.

O Lord, make my soul a sanctuary, a fortress within. That no one and nothing can disturb. A place of calm, silence, and serenity, untouched by the outside world.

[Quran 6:32]:
"The life of this world is nothing but game and distraction, but the Home of the Hereafter is better for those who are righteous. Do you not understand?"

Are you a Muslim who believes that Jesus is/was the Word of God?
Madeleine · 41-45, F
@ForLove Yes, Jesus is a word of God. Because he was born miraculously without a father. God said "be" and he was.

[Quran 3:59]
The likeness of Jesus in God’s sight is that of Adam: He created him from dust, then said to him, “Be,” and he was.

@Madeleine So, is your understanding is that he was a word of God, not The one and only Word of God, i.e.: the only one who has ever spoken perfectly without any error?
Madeleine · 41-45, F
@ForLove Explain the word of God.
ForLove · 56-60, M
@Madeleine The Word of God is God's Truths about anything He expresses. In other words, if God were speaking to you like a human does, everything He would be saying would be the word of God. And we believe Jesus was the Word of God, because He had the perfection of God's Spirit in Him (and no one else does or could), and therefore everything Jesus spoke was the words of God, and he himself was the Word of God in flesh, living, words of God manifested in the form of a man. Words of God can also be printed in a book, they can also be spoken by others, but none of us can do it perfectly.
