I Am Enjoying Being A Muslim

Allah the Exalted loves them who forgo worldly life, the Angels love them who reject the vices, and the people love them who give up greediness in respect of others.

Greed pushes people to an extent where they become inhuman. It makes them forget about others and they start collecting as much as possible for themselves. I learned that miserliness, cowardice, and greed appear to be different wicked qualities but they all arise from the same evil mentality of having no faith and no trust in Allah. Greed and faith never co-exist in the human heart.

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said:
[quote]“Your rivalry in the accumulation of wealth diverts your minds.”[/quote]

[Quran 4:128]
[quote]"[b]Souls are prone to avarice; yet if you do what is good, and practice piety—Allah is Cognizant of what you do[/b]."[/quote]

We are commanded to make the hereafter our main goal and focus, but we are also commanded to enjoy what God gave us in this world, to be thankful for it, and use it in a way that is pleasing to God.

@Madeleine what about pleasing thyself. And what of The Angels? What are or rather who are the daughters of Allah??.the Qur'an is just as corrupted as the THE Book. And it's people. Corrupted by the words of man. Who is really equal to whom. Is the king equal to. Or Greater than he who is poor?in the law it says he is the same as,the poor man .but in tmTurth. This isn't so.sharia law ? A joke when it comes to royalty and thoses whom set in authority over the masses. Rewriting scriptures. And you can crie and say THAT the Qur'an is not corrupted and in it's Original state.untouched.and think about it, and how stupid that sounds.No there is nothing perfect about it. Corruption. Change a verse here and another there to make it.fit to what one desires. Is wicked. And filled with evil.the whole becomes corrupted just by adding a few lies. The book of lies.And false guidedess. As WITH the Book the Bible. Changing and adding to it.Corrupt.the whole of it.

@Madeleine you can sit up here and quote shuras all day long and say how perfect the prophet Muhammad was.And that you/.we should emulate him.and how he was spoken about in the bible to come after the messiah (or in your case the so called Ture believers) .that JESUS the CHRIST was NOTHING more than just a prophet and that he didnt die upon the cross/tree ,but someone else die in his place and that just an image of his face was place
imposed on that person..And how Angels came and washed the prophet Muhammad insides with pure white snow when he was a young boy because he was prone tovfits /seizures. And so on.miss/mrs.dont sit up here say it's clear.to you one haven't read or done such this or that .which you know not.

@Abbenthewarwolf The Quran never claimed what happened to Prophet Jesus (peace be upon him) except that he didn't die and it was appeared to them that he did. If you read the Quran, you've had known that.

@Madeleine oh and also it does say what happened to Christ Jesus. He was taken away and hidden by Allah until the last day.and he will return even the holy Quran speaks of his returning,so who needs to do more reading of their holy book? peace. ☺
