I Am Enjoying Being A Muslim

Some hearts understand each other even in silence.

I want a man who understands my eyes when I get sad and points to his chest and says ‘here is your home’. A man who will lead me to God and not to sin is always worth the wait.

One of the greatest blessings a person can receive in this world is a good and pious spouse. I want to hold his hand in Paradise and say ‘finally we’re here’.

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said:
"Among the Muslims, the most perfect as regards his faith is the one whose character is most excellent and the best among you are those who treat their wives well."

In the beginning was one man and one woman. Islam has perverted that into one man and 4 women except for their false prophet who had 13 wives (by special dispensation which proves him to be false). As for the rest of your nonsense it remains nonsense. muslim women are 4th class citizens under sharia and are treated as such. Compare that to Christianity where Jesus did not permit the stoning of the woman caught in adultery and did not turn away the woman with an issue of blood. Peter went on to say that women are co-heirs in Christ Jesus. Mary who is highly esteemed (and no she was not the sister of Moses as mohammed believed). If you want to know real freedom and goodness ask Jesus to help you. Just as an aside : Why are you so afraid of Jesus and asking Him to help? mohammed said Jesus was a prophet so what harm is there in asking Jesus to help you understand reality?

@hippyjoe1955 According to the bible, men can marry as many women as they want.
hippyjoe1955 · 70-79, M
@Madeleine Nope Jesus put an end to that practice (the two shall be one) and Paul made it quite clear that there should be one man married to one woman. (Husband of one wife)
Madeleine · 41-45, F
@hippyjoe1955 This verse talks about a man becomes one flesh with his wife, Jesus (peace be upon him) was answering a question about whether or not it is allowed for a man to divorce his wife. This doesn't mean that a man can't be one with another wife. There's no verse in the NT says that a man is not allowed to have more than one wife.
hippyjoe1955 · 70-79, M
@Madeleine No you don't understand at all.

Jesus replied. “But at the beginning of creation God ‘made them male and female.’ ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh.’ So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.”

Do you notice the singular man and singular wife? Do you notice the two become one and not 3 or 4 or 5 become one? The original intent in Genesis was One man and One woman. Jesus simply amplified it.

So when are you going to ask Jesus to help you understand these things? You keep wishing the Prince of Peace peace but you are making war with HIM.

@hippyjoe1955 Where is the question?

[Matthew 19:3]
Some Pharisees came to him to test him. They asked, "Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife for any and every reason?"
hippyjoe1955 · 70-79, M
@Madeleine So you think Jesus wasn't using this as a teaching moment and making several points at once? You really don't know anything about Jesus and His genius teachings. Yes the question was about divorce. Jesus expanded it to cover the nature of marriage and the reason divorce is a bad thing. If you noticed He also said marriage was to be sexually exclusive between the one husband and the one wife and to do otherwise is the only legitimate grounds for divorce. So if a man marries a woman then marries another the first one has just been divorced and is no longer his wife.

You really should ask Jesus for guidance in these things. islam has not done you any favours.

@hippyjoe1955 Where did he say that polygamy is no longer allowed?
hippyjoe1955 · 70-79, M
@Madeleine Respectfully what part of Jesus' teaching about marriage do you not understand? One man one woman as was explained in Genesis. Jesus did not change anything but corrected mankind who thinks it is OK to have polygamy. Mankind is wrong and Jesus (being God) is right. mohammed being man is wrong and doubly so when he allowed himself to have even more wives than his followers.
hippyjoe1955 · 70-79, M
@Madeleine "I want to hold his hand in Paradise and say ‘finally we’re here’." So what about his other 3 wives? He only has two hands and 4 wives. What do the wives do? Funny how your instinct is toward monogamy but your religion allows polygamy. Jesus was right you know. Mankind was meant to be monogamist. One man one woman loving each other. Oh and one final thing after we are dead there is no more sex or gender. Jesus said, "At the resurrection people will neither marry nor be given in marriage; they will be like the angels in heaven".
Madeleine · 41-45, F
@hippyjoe1955 having multiple wives is optional, not all men have four wives. I can choose to accept or refuse having a co-wife, but the option is open for those who want. You are going against your own Bible. Polygamy is a solution for some cases, and God allows it for a reason.
hippyjoe1955 · 70-79, M
@Madeleine Doesn't matter what we humans choose to do or not. What matters is what is Yahweh's plan or design for our lives. Jesus who is fully God said One Man One Woman. You ignore Him at your peril. On the other hand you could turn to Him and ask Him for guidance. He is much more trustworthy than old stinky mohammed the evil doer.
Madeleine · 41-45, F
@hippyjoe1955 Jesus never said that, it's your own claim. It's true that we should never follow our desires, but to obey God's commands, and yet, you are following your own desires by claiming things against God that are false. I'm following the law, the law of God. You are not.
hippyjoe1955 · 70-79, M
@Madeleine I have quoted His words from the only reliable source. Are you calling Him a liar again? Why don't you ask Him yourself. He will surely answer you and will confirm that in the beginning mankind was designed to be one man and one woman loving each other for life. Then upon death we are transformed into beings where gender does not exist. Eternal life where we are no longer rutting and rooting like the animals we now are. Ask Jesus. It is as simple as saying "Father forgive me". "Open my eyes to Your understanding". It is certainly more fulfilling than banging your head on the ground and washing your hands thinking that these things will save you.

@hippyjoe1955 When someone' spouse dies, can they get married again?
hippyjoe1955 · 70-79, M
@Madeleine What part of 'For Life' did you not get? That was the trap the Sadducees laid for Jesus saying in the resurrection whose wife would a seven times married woman be. Jesus was explicit saying that there is no marriage in the resurrection because we will be like the angels who are not bound by biology.

Matthew 22:29-33 But Jesus answered them, “You are wrong, because you know neither the Scriptures nor the power of God. For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like angels in heaven. And as for the resurrection of the dead, have you not read what was said to you by God: ‘I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob’? He is not God of the dead, but of the living.” And when the crowd heard it, they were astonished at his teaching.

Sorry to say but old stink mohammed was wrong again. Why do you keep calling the prophets Jesus etc liars? Maybe they were telling the truth and old mohammed was lying. Ask Jesus He can sort it out for you.
Madeleine · 41-45, F
@hippyjoe1955 If there's no marriage in heaven then why someone can't marry more than one wife?
hippyjoe1955 · 70-79, M
@Madeleine Did you read your own post about how you want one man to stand by your side and love you? We humans are built that way. We are not built for polygamy. We are a social animal not a herd animal. We are not like cattle where the herd bull follows the lead cow and does all the breeding. We are not built that way. We are built to love ONE not many. If you want a truly Christian perspective it is because there is only One God (Yahweh) and He has only one bride (the church). Those who seek polygamy are the ones who are trying to force Yahweh to accept more than the One way to God. islam being fake is trying to say that the Church is not the Bride of Christ since there can be many brides. islam is wrong as are all the other polygamist cults. One man one woman for life. Who would want it any other way except sexual perverts who can not enter the Kingdom because they are completely ruled by their fleshly lusts. Those who are ruled by those said fleshly lusts have no part in the Kingdom of God. You really should ask Jesus. He can help you understand.
Madeleine · 41-45, F
@hippyjoe1955 I'm sure many mistresses would love to have a co-wife instead.
hippyjoe1955 · 70-79, M
@Madeleine So because someone wants to do evil it is OK to do evil? Aren't you the one who prattles on about the 'law' all the time. Jesus said for our own well being "One man One woman for life".
Madeleine · 41-45, F
@hippyjoe1955 Jesus never said that, you are twisting the passage. Plus, marrying is never an evil act. It protects a woman and her children rights.
hippyjoe1955 · 70-79, M
@Madeleine I quoted the passage. Read it for yourself. Take any translation you choose and it says the same thing. Marriage does not protect the woman or the children in a multiple wife situation. It is likely the cruelest type of marriage there is both for the woman and the children. The husband has no need to care of love the woman because he has others he can have sex with. The woman becomes little more than a chattel that is at his disposal.
Madeleine · 41-45, F
@hippyjoe1955 The passage never said a man can never marry more than one wife. This is your twisted interpretation. Plus, Islam is a perfect system. A man can only have more than one wife if he was able to treat them equally in all aspects. Otherwise, he is a sinner and will be held accountable in front of God. Marriage protects a woman's right financially, a man is not obligated to spend on his mistress, but he is obligated to spend on his wife.
hippyjoe1955 · 70-79, M
@Madeleine Actually it does say that. The misguided always twist scripture to suit their ends. old mohammed was famous for coming up with a new 'revelation' whenever it suited him. Jesus didn't do that. Jesus remained faithful to both the Scriptures and His Father. You should ask Jesus. Unlike old dead mo and the satanic idol allah Jesus is alive and able to help those who ask Him.
Madeleine · 41-45, F
@hippyjoe1955

[Quran 4:3]
then marry the women you like—two, or three, or four. But if you fear you will not be fair, then one
hippyjoe1955 · 70-79, M
@Madeleine The quran like the guy who dictated it are satanic. Do not trust a word that is written there. mohammed lied. Jesus always told the Truth because He is the Truth. Jesus never raped anyone but mohammed did. Jesus never stole but mohammed did. Jesus never killed but mohammed did. Why would anyone in their right mind follow mohammed and think he had anything to do with God. Every record we have of him shows he was demonic. Jesus called those who follow the satan liars and killers. Jesus was right. mohammed was a liar and a killer therefore he was demonic.
