It’s About That Time Of Year…Earwigs Getting Into The House….

@BizSuitStacy They can get into anything. I’ve seen them in a heavy pan with a tight-fitting lid, in a tea pot, in the sink, in the bathroom etc. Not so much this year but I am expecting them any day now.

@cherokeepatti they are year around where I live because it's so damp. Luckily, they mostly stay outside. They do like getting under my bbq grill cover, so I see them regularly.

@BizSuitStacy They get under landscaping blocks and gravel and hide. I’ve found dozens in my mailbox. A small hole in the bottom to screw the mailbox down was likely the entrance to it. Sprayed an air cleaner spray made from orange oil in the mailbox and it took care of them quickly.

@BizSuitStacy Ha! I posted this yesterday and first thing this morning I found one on the dish towels on the kitchen counter, had put them there to dry pans I had washed up last night. Earwig Season has officially begun.
