I Hear Cicadas Singing, For The First Time This Season….Got up to 100F. This afternoon.

They’ll be singing by 10 most mornings, and the Mississippi kites will have full bellies.

@TexChik There are June bugs here. Or as I like to tell the boy when he asks what that scratching noise is on the window screen in his bedroom…the space aliens are back.

@cherokeepatti We didnt seem to have as many this year, and the fire ants havent been mounding up in the yard this year. Seems odd

@cherokeepatti Not as bad as the year before when we had the 5 days of subzero weather. Maybe that did it
@TexChik our March Browns showed up in February. Our Mayflies showed up in April. Dang bugs can't seem to read a calendar. 😉 Who knows what those October caddis are gonna do.
