I Am a Web Developer

I wouldn't say I'm a professional, but I can do quite a lot and handling requests and questions from others is a great way to learn. So if you're interested in learning how to make a website, feel free to send me a message and I'd be happy to help.

You do this as a hobby or as a job actually?

Only as a hobby. :) I've taught myself everything I know about it. There is this graph (sadly I can't find a picture anymore) that shows experience in programming. As a novice you thing there is a small amount to learn and you know about half of that, then as an intermediate you know a lot more and thing that's about it and finally as an expert you know a reasonable amount but discover there is a whole lot more that you don't know yet. In that sense I consider myself an expert.

@Plobey: Ah I see, that is kind of a good description. I do some programming myself and webdesign too, both as a job. But I'm not exactly a developer although I want to be. Still a lot to learn.

Well, the terms used for tasks in development have always confused me a bit. I do everything from function design, layout (although that's definitely my weak side) and making things work as designed. What is your favorite part? (And what do you do as a job?)

I found the graph! :D I'm definitely way into the "I know nothing" Expert phase.

@Plobey: LOL! Yeah, that's a very good chart indeed!
