Thats a tough one. I dont have an answer, but I think I can shed some light on the problem.
Boredom is a symptom; the problem is having no purpose in life. And there's no quick fix for that. A "bimbo" might distract for a moment - lots of things will do that - but it's not a deep, satisfying purpose in life.
And obviously you can't just give his life purpose. Only he can do that. But you might be able to point him in the right direction.
