Luxuriating the time
All i ever need for streaming is Criterion and Mubi, so around 30 dollars a month, the reasoning is like this
To make it worthwhile i need not have to a huge minimum amount to watch, making a more maximal use of the 2 services
Each film is to be important in some way, the struggle inwardly was a mindset that also wanted a balance with more common forms of entertainment, but that is a shallow reason. FUN has to know its place, to be found within the cathedral of the aesthetic.
And also giving me time to nap and read, luxuriance in other words.
Plus there are some free services like Tubi, Shout TV and YouTube that can offer a balance.
