Online dating is rough

Sent paragraphs and paragraphs of texts before the date, minor hiccups at the start of the date but it went really well in my opinion. Ended with a really passionate kiss. And now I've been ghosted, no reply to my text after the date. Really hurts tbh but no point wondering why or obsessing over what went wrong. I just personally don't understand how someone can put in that much effort before a date only to just disappear like that.
