What’s appealing about an online relationship at all?

Like yay I have to sit on my ass on a screen to talk to you and you’ll never touch me…

Yeah sounds great.

I TOTALLY understand!! 😄 I've always had trouble understanding the "online" thing. Maybe it's not for me... or maybe I'm just bad at it... I guess I'm just more of a "hands-on" kinda person. 🤷‍♂️
@Shipwrecked Same here. I need to look in someone’s eyes to know they’re real. I need to feel their energy when they laugh.

@Shipwrecked @BrokenAbyss It's called being a human being. We are social creatures and very much need to be physically around each other. It's primal.

@BrokenAbyss ...that energy is SOOO important!! (I don't want to speak for everyone; but to me, it's important) ⚡🤣⚡ Especially for those of us with a bit of an empathic nature.

@SumKindaMunster WHEW!! It's reassuring to know that I haven't lost ALL of my humanity...😁😉
@Shipwrecked YES! I’m extremely empathetic and sensitive to people. And a relentless giver. I could likely be in a relationship I didn’t even need to talk at all, but just be near someone and share.
@SumKindaMunster And when you don’t have that connection, you feel a bit empty.

@BrokenAbyss @Shipwrecked I am a hard core introvert, but even I need at least one fulfilling, intimate, mutually supporting relationship in my life and I have forged that with my wife, thank goodness. We are social creatures and we need to be around each other, its not something you can explain rationally, you just know it to be true.

Glad to know you both feel similarly. ❤️
