I Met Someone In Person From the Internet
I've met dozens of people from the internet, honestly. I've never had a problem - but of course, taking precautions (meeting in public place, etc) is always wise.

@Jamesbo Depends entirely on who it was. Most of them were people I eventually met a various hobby-related conventions I attend.
