We had to be far more interactive and interreliant before.
This society is more suited to introverts than extroverts. Therefore you are likely to be a social extrovert.
I'm definitely an introvert. I thrive on a introverted society.
This applies even outside of the Internet. Look at drive thrus and food service pickups like Uber eats. We even extend it to grocery pickups and Amazon prime deliveries.
It's all designed to limit contact with others.
Think about this next time you go through a drive thru.
Now change positions and actually eat inside of a restaurant!
Oh, you don't want to see the dirty homeless man right? Asking you for money?
Therefore you promote the introvert lifestyle and go for the drive thru.
It use to be that dirty, crazy homeless man was the life of the party! They were the artists that drew pictures on the counter. Or played some type of musical instrument.
I remember one restaurant where they let this crazy lady in purposely. Because she was the entertainment, asking everyone how they were! 🤣
Sometimes she would even sit and talk with people. Yes! Total strangers.
Oh, but she's a nothing, a loser, a leech on society?
You got what you wanted by not interacting. By "blocking" everyone out!
There's no such thing as blocking in real life!
