Do you remember before we all had Usernames when we all had Handles (CB Names) instead?
Do you remember before smart phones, when the only way to talk to somebody if you were further away than the cord on your landline phone would reach, was by CB (Citizens Band Radio)?
Do you remember before the shorthand expressions we use today like "LOL" and "OMG" and "TBH" when there was CB Lingo? Back when there was "Breaker One Nine" (break in on channel 19), "What's your 20?" (where are you?), "Bears" (as in Smokey Bear meaning police), You wanna 10-9 that?" (repeat please), "Doing double-nickles" (driving speed limit 55), and "I have to go 10-100" (better than having to go 10-200).
And while I don't condone this kind of disrespect for law enforcement, C.W. McCall's song "Convoy" from 1975 was immensely popular and came out during the height of the CB Craze. When truck drivers were looked on as the modern version of cowboys, living free and working hard. So I give you "Convoy" as told by Rubber Duck.
No Mustangs were damaged in the making of this video, but I can't say the same for Dodge police cars.
