I tried them years ago, and from what I can tell they're about the same. Either people are looking for a temporary thing, a hookup in the guise of a relationship, or want to play games. Apparently the paid sites have better odds of success, but they're garbage these day.

Be cautious, patient and don't just "settle" friends are hard to find....a dating situation is even harder.....do be in a hurry for either and they'll both come to you...

It's a good theory...but reality has shown me there are more bad "learning experiences" out there. It's a shame, that online seems to e the best option out there. So disappoining!

You're right. I really miss deep and intelligent conversations you know. My point of view is that connection takes time. So it's worth investing in it and taking out time to talk and open up :)
