I Don't Like Online Dating

It used to be a possibility to connect with fairly sincere people over vast distances and a way to socialize.

As times changed sadly , it became more of a refuge for the pathologically damaged , the gamers , and the dregs who could not find company anywhere else.

Smart wisdom would say. Why stick my hand into a nest of adders ?

Because there are decent people on there too. If you have the option to go out and join clubs etc then that may be a better. But I’ve been hit on by married guys and weirdos like that too.
Dating apps can widen the pool to include those in the next town which you wouldn’t bump into naturally. 🤷‍♀️

It’s frustrating and soul destroying but what if after 100 assholes you find the person who is perfect?
I recently joined a dating app because I don’t want to be alone. It’s hard and maybe too soon for me because I still feel damaged by my last relationship. Sitting at home crying won’t help, I just need 1 decent guy....

To love unconditionally, without reservation or mistrust. If that was the case there would be a handful of people in relationships. Don't most people have reservations at the start when you start to fall for them?
I'm not ready for anything serious, but maybe dating a few nice guys and jerks will help me decide what I do or don't want in life.
