I Hate Online Dating Sites

I dislike them... but for kicks, I'm on 2.... I know what crazy circus sideshow this can be and I for certain bust a U-turn (click the "X" or delete messages) when I see a profile with photos of his kids in it...
1- did they (the kids) approve of the (kids included) advertising photos on his dating profile? *if I was "mom", I'd be pissed...

2- I know they're part of the package; but doesn't that scare ladies away??

I don't like when they post pictures of their kids. What about the ones who post with pictures of them drinking and they even look drunk? Or them posted with what looks like an ex? Or with their moms? LOL. Or a selfie in a dirty bathroom? It is horrendous.

Don't you love making your "ugh" faces and quickly delete messages?? I got busted for that a couple times... they messaged me and I deleted them without reading them and they message me again "playing games won't get you a date. I'm sure you didn't read my last message "... 😜

Yeah..... and when they throw the "you don't like (race/religion) then"...

@IntoMeYouSee I was on a couple a while back. I could tell you some pretty funny stories. One date even brought me lilies. Smelly lilies. That date ended about two minutes later. And I dumped the lilies in the garbage. You are in for a world of adventures. Be careful. It is a meat market. Have fun.

@PoetryNEmotion I AM afraid..... very afraid... it's an ugly world (this getting out there stuff)...

I was bold several years back and dated a lot... I would go and they would be half shit faced when I got there... would keep taking about their past relationship, kids.... I was not entertained and those dates ended when my water was finished (and I was thirsty)

@IntoMeYouSee I don't know of a better way to meet a potential partner. If there were one, I would gladly tell you. Just be careful. I think you should look for a man where your interests lay. A hobby perhaps or a group. I used to be on meetup.com. Most cities have them. Now they have merged with something else. I joined a great hiking group. And met some nice people. That is what I suggest. Look where your passions are found. And keep me informed. I know you are on the right track.

@PoetryNEmotion I've been to Meetup groups also. I've mostly just made acquaintances there and it's fine that way. :>
I am being patient though.... I'm taking my time as not to get into trouble too quickly
