A radio show I like to listen to has this "Missed Connections" segment where they read posts from that section of Craigslist that are funny. Today I thought I would try to find one of the posts. I didn't have any luck but I did find this one that I thought was touching and needed to be shared...

Now you need to get back up and realize that there is someone who knows you are special and has always tried to show you that since he has known you. Dont let mistakes or past decisions define you. The past is just that you can't change it. But you have a choice in how you want to proceed. Be accountable to yourself and do what you say you are going to do. Don't give up on yourself ever. You deserve to be treated special and have loyalty and trust as well as feeling safe. You have all of that from someone who knows and shows you that you are special. Don't lose that due to mistakes or dishonesty. Get healthy in all ways and find the person you truly are. Love yourself because you are loved. You know there is that honest and sincere love if you want it at whatever level you want. If you do just say that you do and if you don't then say that as well without using those who truly do care for you and try to provide the support to show it. If you damage those to much you lose them. Think about what is important and strive for it always regardless of what has occurred in the past. Be vulnerable to the ones you trust and love and care for and realize what love truly is.
