all i want to do is purchase a large umbrella!! it keeps trying to force me go to amazon and i bloody refuse!!

half the screen has ads so i cant even read the article or video i want to choose from. shopping in town is no longer an option, there are no more department stores, jc penny, woolworth, sears, etc...why does this idiotic machine assume i am india???????? I DO NOT WANT A F-ING COMPACT UMBRELLA!!!!

I feel similarly. Even in small towns in the UK, the ability to buy many things locally is much diminished and I loathe Amazon. Unfortunately, now I have closed my account with them.I have to resort to asking friends who use them to buy some things from them as I got fed up with them leaving things on the doorstep in the rain.

@Softy1 To be fair, it's the customers who have helped. I know people who have gone to shops, checked out the product, asked the retailer for advice and then gone out and bought it on line. 😡 That behaviour helped put one of my family out of business with his shop.
