Short form dramas
My latest hyper fixation is on those stupid AI short form dramas on tiktok. Some of them are so stupid it makes me laugh out loud. And after watching them you kinda see a pattern.
The English speaking ones are all shouty for some reason. And they’re usually about werewolves, lost heiresses, CEOs, dragons etc etc
The Chinese ones are actually superior in terms of the speech (ie not as shouty) but the female leads cry a lot. And they’re usually about transmigrations, time travel, and mostly in ancient China.
What they both have in common is the AI glitches - which for me makes them all the more entertaining because they’re so ridiculous. There was one where the character was eating their steak with a pair of chopsticks and I couldn’t stop giggling.
Anyway for now that’s where I’m at in terms of latest obsessive interest.
