Do.u remember what the world was like before Internet π
Or are you too young to remember. Hello ladies and gents. I remember in 1994 when it was announced to.the world π. Computers were about to take over. And we were about to experience a new way to communicate. My how things have changed. People were way nicer back then. People thought for themselves. The latter part of the 20th century was about having fun and being independent. We barely knew the difference between a Democrat and a Republican. Now everything is so blatant and polarized. No more modesty or class. Everything is extreme and crass. And people barely talk to each other anymore. Where have all the good ole days gone. Does anyone here get what I am saying today. Do you remember what the world was like before the Internet.π I'm listening π§ Best answer wins. π₯ βΊ
I set up my first dial-up modem in 1992. It was my first year in university. That was exciting because I was able to send emails to another friend who was also discovering email for the first time. π
That was a big upgrade to typing letters and sending them through the post office. I still write and send handwritten cards for birthdays and holidays. Thatβs the part I would not give up despite the availability of digital card options.
