Chrome users, how can I block Temu if never installed it but it appears to be taking over my phone?

If you never installed it, check your Chrome notifications first. Go to Chrome > Settings > Site Settings > Notifications and remove or block any sites you don't recognize. Then check your phone for any suspicious apps, clear Chrome's browsing data, and run a security scan with Google Play Protect. A lot of those "Temu" pop-ups are actually just spam notifications from sketchy websites, not the Temu app itself.
