Internet as a small country

Something I think about a lot, as a small country with very little in the way of local websites or a national Internet hub here in nz, at least compared to other countries,

It's wild to think , if America ever decided "nah, screw all y'all" and isolated themselves and their Internet from the rest of the world?

NZ would just go back to the Internet dark ages,
No doubt many countries would.


Frankly if anything happened to Google we alllll doomed , I'm not smart enough to remember how to use my collection of 1984 Brittanicas 😭
