is anyone worried about this ' biometric ' stuff or digital ID

and does anyone know more about it? i'm in the uk and i keep hearing more and more about it on sites like youtube, people talking about it in their uploads and comments, but i don't understand anything about it....but it does sound bad and restrictive....i saw someone form Australia comment on one video ' i'm not using digital ID in order to use the internet'....and i admit, that really worried me.....as i love my computer and internet, like going on social media.....i'm from the old school, from a time when we didn't have all these restrictions.

and this digital ID really scares me and this ' biometric ' face scan stuff to use the internet?

does anyone know more about it? or know what us ordinary citizens will do? is there a way to beat these plans for digital ID and stop this biometric stuff? or is it certain it will happen?

I don't know much about the state of it in the UK but it's also a major problem in Europe and elsewhere.
They're trying to use children as a justification to break encryption on messenger services and restrict the internet for children by way of digital ID which is an absolute privacy nightmare.

The mainstream media has done an astounding job in keeping this quiet which might be why you haven't heard much about it. Sadly, at least in Europe, it seems that it's gonna happen, and of course the politicians implementing this dystopian police state will be exempt from it.

As for the UK I found this: https://www.gov.uk/government/collections/online-safety-act

Sounds like it's already in effect but it's far less intrusive and wide ranging as the European counterpart.
