What I’ve noticed since retirement is not that many people online across social media certain hours. From around 7 am to 6/7 pm Eastern Standard Time. People are at work, away from home. Weekends and holidays traffic is light. I’m probably wrong. But it’s my thoughts on the matter.
There are some statistics on smart phone usage. There are three that caught my eye.
1. Texting while driving now causes more automobile accidents, and injuries/fatalities than driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. 2. The smartphone is the number two thing in all male’s hand above the age of twelve, behind number one, doorknobs. The former number two thing in is now the number one thing in all males using a smartphone other hand used to be number two on the list. 3. Online p0rnography is in use at a staggering rate.
