I am kinda starting to hate the internet

Oh god I am getting old, here is my first old lady rant.

Everyone is trying to sell me something, ads everywhere, you can't disagree with anyone without getting into a heated argument, everything is extrem-afied nothing is normal, everything is some kind of conspiracy theory, streaming services are costs are rising while offering less and less.

I feel the same way. And I know I'm addicted to it too. I feel so much happier when I haven't been online for a while, but then I start to crave it again and before I know it, I've been on non-stop for three hours and gotten nothing done. *sigh*

The internet is only as good or bad as the people who throw the content into it. The saying "garbage in, garbage out" is applicable.

The Internet sucks now in comparison to what it used to be. A lot of people are starting to dislike it ... but as a people we're all stuck in the "what comes next" stage.
