is pinterest still a good site

it was one of my favourite sites for storing vintage pictures and downloading them...ive not visited for quite a while but saw someone online criticize the site saying it's full of ads now, ads have ruined it...is this true? do you still find pinterest a good site?

It does have a lot of ads but doesn’t stop me from using it nearly every day. It is very useful for collecting recipes and tips and other things that I am interested in.
