Could you go a few days without social media?

I was thinking about the way people don't communicate deeply on ground anymore as they are always on their phones. Is it better to go a few days without social media?

I think I could go forever without social media.
The only reason I use it, is because I don't have a companion or friends in real life. Social media is hardly a substitute for real-life contacts.
