is the internet not as good as it used to be

in the mid 2000s and early 2000s, we had a lot of sites for entertainment, yahoo sites, yahoo messenger, msn messenger...p2p file sharing software, piratebay....now it seems that they are all gone? well many are, its a fact...so does this mean that the internet fun is not as good as it once was?
