@SW-User Almost all the right-wingers have. However, I've posted in defense of Palestine a lot and there are pro Israel people who are not the usual suspects.

I try and be more polite these days but there was a Jewish Israeli woman I fell out with bigtime. I eventually said she hought she was doing the right thing by her people but there was no way that we could agree. At my suggestion, we decided to stay off each other's posts from now on. It's stressful.

@Burnley123 I've noticed that. I try to avoid politics in general, even if I have a strong view. I find the Israel/Palestine situation very difficult. I think a lot of the stronger views here, on both sides, are too simplistic. Any solution has to deal with the current situation and not the history of the region.

@OliRos Yes, exactly. What I meant was I don't see any solution from looking at what the demographics and borders of the region used to be, and trying to go back to that. Populations and people have always moved, any solution has to meet the aspirations of people who live there now.
