I don't understand why people censor the word "fuck" on this site

I've seen "fck", "fvck", "f*ck", and other festive variations. What's the fucking point? Pusillanimous fucks. Ahem. We now return you to your regularly scheduled programming.

I don't like the word, so I don't use it. But I can see a single point. If someone like me wants to reference a quotation or song lyric then they might censor it

@SW-User Sometimes manners but sometimes to not devalue it if overused. It's quite different saying casually wtf or mildly annoyed ffs and being red-hot pissed off shouting "that FUCKING swine!".
