In addition to the $1B Microsoft already invested in OpenAI, it's tossing in another $10B, giving the startup, with no real revenue, a valuation of $23B, and also giving Microsoft almost half ownership of OpenAI.

How Open will it be with Micro$oft involved that much?

@startingover23 That would definitely be an issue. OpenAI fell into Microsoft's lap, as a way to finally broke through Google's technical superiority over search. If Google jumps aboard, it loses its search advantage.

@Northwest I worry how open the ai will be, and how much it will be biased towards Micro$oft partners.
