VLC and Winamp
SW-User
VLC to open random media files from my file manager
Clementine and/or Rhythmbox for Internet radio and/or browsing my "music collection" (I don't do either as often anymore)
Used to love Guayadeque when I was more concerned about my music library, and used Winamp when I still used WIndows
Used Gpodder when I was more into podcasts
Use Rockbox firmware on my mp3 player
Used to use additional programs to edit tags (I know I can do this in VLC but, e.g., Puddletag seemed to allow me to do it more like a spreadsheet and faster), or adjust replay gain ... but these details are less important to me now, especially since I'm not doing any p2p file sharing for years now, so I don't have to worry about other network users blocking me because I don't have complete albums or thoroughly tagged files
